Window Replacement Fund
With the aging of our facility comes the need to replace our old single paned windows (and ones that footballs and lawnmower expelled rocks have gone through!) with new, modern, energy efficient windows. We will start with the sanctuary and then replace windows in the apartment, the Melton room, the hall windows facing Queen Way and others. An added benefit is that in the summer we will stay cooler and in the winter we will be warmer too and have lower energy bills!
The Window Replacement Fund is a great way to honor a friend or relative too. If you wish to replace a window ($400) in honor of someone, we will send a lovely card to whom you tell us, letting them know of your gift of a new window for the church and a brass plate will be placed under the new window after it is installed.
And of course, any contribution in any amount is welcome at any time to go towards this fund and you can request that a card be sent if it is in honor or memory of someone. Feel free to contact the Financial Secretary above for your donation, honorary or memorial card and brass plate. To contribute simply mark a pew envelope "Window Replacement Fund."

Another Way to help the Window Fund
Any Sunday just bring in your aluminum beverage cans (soda, tea, beer) and Jane Wren will take them in for CASH! (No scrap or other types of aluminum please.)
And yet another fun way to help the church Window Fund:
HOSTESS A JEWELRY PARTY AND HELP REPLACE THE CHURCH WINDOWS!
For every church member/attendee who hosts a Lia Sophia jewelry party, Michelle Beech will donate her sales commissions from our parties for the purchase of new windows in the sanctuary. (This will help our capital fund deliver more energy efficient windows for our church, especially during winter.)
It's easy to host a jewelry party!

2. She'll get you the invitations and web site evites for all your friends, family and co-workers.
3. Provide her a table space for the party and if you like, you can serve light refreshments.
4. Hostesses can get 20-40% of show totals in FREE JEWELRY for themselves, plus many other great hostess benefits!

The Camp Fund - New June 2009
Did you know that at least one of our youth is considering ministry in some form in the future? Church camp is a great way to experience the visible power of faith in action and with one another. Feel free to take a pew envelope and mark it "Camp Fund" for our future campers.

Capital Fund
Did you know that we have a Capital Fund? Stewardship also means the care of our church building. Have you looked up recently--at the roof? Those curling wood shingles HAVE BEEN REPLACED. Please consider giving to the Capital Fund during the morning offering. Just note on your check or pew envelope "Capital Fund! or Roof!" to assist our capital campaign to pay for the roof.
